So I finaly found a place where the kingfishers fish. So over the last few days I have spent some time tryign to get the perfect shot. But as per normal it seems that even with a 300mm and x2 tele I am still not close enough. I have practiced the feild craft and mad sure the hide is setup and covered well. But it is so frustrating.

Also if seems that the Kingfishers are very active erlay morning and late afternoon, is this normal for this time of the year (October) ??

any info well recived.
