Allow me to address my con for this lens. As I said in my review of the 75-300mm, there appears to me alot of plastic, but with some of today's synthetics being almost as strong as metals, it may just be an old man having to adapt to modern times amd lighter lenses. Quality wise my pictures are great, and the lens operates very smoothly and quickly. In that I doctor up my images with a processing software, I really don't notice and real issues. I will say that if I keep the lens CLEAN sharpness is not an issue. I like this lens alot.
