Over the last few months both Jeff and myself have been looking at the products available for testing lenses. There are several options on the market that are an out of the box solution. These will enable us to test lenses for all of main stream testing areas.

We have also been looking at writing own software and process. We have considered this because we can then try and do something that might be different from the norm and help most people understand the details of each lens.

The main problem with lens testing solutions is that this tend to produce very detailed information that can be very confusing to some people. So we would like to make it much more simple and less confusing for the user. We also want to have a process where you can compare lenses on the same page.

So what this space, we will be trying to make a decision as soon as possible.

Thanks

Just a quick addition to the comments from Lee above.

We understand that some folks will want the technical data, so aim to provide two views.  One with an at a glance view, with an arbitrary rating system and one with real technical information
